Nokia composer ring tonesThe Nokia 3210 was the first Nokia cell phone to use the composer ring tones. Composer ring tones are also used by later Nokia models, such as the Nokia 2100, Nokia 3310, 3315, 3330, 3350, 3390, 3610, 5210, 8250 and Nokia 8855. These Nokia cell phones have a built in ring tone composer and you can compose new ring tones directly on their keyboards. Composing ring tones this way is free, but requires some skill.Nokia Composer format ring tones look very similar to RTTTL ring tones, however there are a few minor differences. Usually, Nokia Composer ring tones do not have commas between the notes, and do not have a header containing the tempo, or song name. You can convert a Nokia composer ring tone to RTTTL format, add a song name, and tempo information. Composer ring tones are also used by other cell phone manufacturers such as Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Siemens and Samsung.
